“Konjović in Novi Sad“

On Thursday, May 26, 2011, at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts branch in Novi Sad, there was a promotion of the monograph "Konjović – At Close Range" by Irma Lang and the opening of the exhibition “The Prague Alphabet” authored by Nebojša Vasić.

On Thursday, May 26, 2011, there was a promotion of the monograph "Konjović – At Close Range" by Irma Lang at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts branch in Novi Sad.

The guests were addressed by the academician Zoran Kovačević, the President of the SASA branch in Novi Sad. After the opening speech, Bela Duranci, an art historian from Subotica, Sava Stepanov, an art historian from Novi Sad, and Irma Lang, the author of the monograph, talked about the Monograph.

 

The exhibition of Milan Konjović’s drawings "The Prague Alphabet" authored by Nebojša Vasić, an academically trained painter, was opened after the promotion of the Monograph at the Gallery of the SASA branch in Novi Sad. The guests were addressed by the academician Vojislav Marić and the exhibition was opened by Sava Stepanov, an art historian.

 

The exhibition was supported by the Provincial Secretariat for Culture in Novi Sad.
