The exhibition "Milan Konjović: The Painting of Gestures and Action (1960-1985)" was opened in Vienna (Austria) last night.
The exhibition "Milan Konjović: The Painting of Gestures and Action (1960-1985)" was opened in Vienna in Palais Porcia (23 Herrengasse street) last night.
Numerous guests, representatives of the embassies of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Germany, Moldova, Croatia and OSCE representatives were welcomed by Slaviša Grujić, the Vice President of the Government of Vojvodina and Provincial Secretary for Culture and Information, and Goran Bradić, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Serbia to Austria. The exhibition was opened by Manfred Macke, Ph.D, the manager of the cultural heritage of Bundestag.
The exhibition consists of 20 paintings from the collection of the “Milan Konjović” Gallery and the author of the exhibition is Sava Stepanov, an art critic from Novi Sad.
The exhibition was organized by the “Milan Konjović” Gallery, the Cultural Center "Laza Kostić", Sombor, and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Austria. The general sponsor of the exhibition is the Provincial Secretariat for Culture and Information, Novi Sad.
The exhibition is open for visitors until 31 July 2013.
